During a two-week residency at La Karpintería, we developed Planta 0 (Floor 0), an experimental research base for the construction of this building, without any certainty of a where to, or a where to, we tried to overlap the narrated image with the fixed visual image. Thanks to the fundamental collaboration of the gazes and voices that accompanied me: María Salazar, Verónica Mas, Myriam Petralanda, Ibon Salvador, Luciana Chieregati, Isaak Erdoiza, Maia Villot, Nissma De Benito, Itziar Okariz & Izar Ocariz.

 

Inhabiting that image_other. In this process, we take "irrelevant" photographs trying to detach ourselves from the images,we try to put our attention on the process/desire of capturing, instead of the resulting image. Then, we exchanged the visual material and each collaborator worked with an "improper image", from which she had to relate-imagine a spatiality between the frame and herself, in a time of 5 minutes.

Durante dos semanas de residencia en La Karpintería, desarrollamos Planta 0, una base de búsqueda experimental para la construcción de este edificio, sin certezas de un hacia, ni un hasta dónde, intentamos superponer la imagen narrada a la imagen visual fija. Gracias a la colaboración fundamental de las miradas y voces que me acompañaron: María Salazar, Verónica Mas, Myriam Petralanda, Ibon Salvador, Luciana Chieregati, Isaak Erdoiza, Maia Villot, Nissma De Benito, Itziar Okariz & Izar Prego.

Habitar esa imagen_otra. En este proceso, tomamos fotografías "irrelevantes" tratando de desapegarnos de las imágenes, 

intentamos poner nuestra atención en el proceso/deseo de captura, en vez de la imagen resultante. Luego, intercambiamos el material visual y cada colaboradora trabajó con una "imagen impropia", a partir de la cual debía relatar-imaginar una espacialidad entre el encuadre y sí misma, en un tiempo de 5 minutos.
